Make Free voice calling from your phone with jahjah
JAJAH Free Global Calling allows for free calls between members under a fair use agreement.

Jajah: I tried jajah about 1 month back and with their FREE minutes i made calls to India. The difference between jajah and other VOIP providers is Jajah only allows you to make Free voice calling from your phone. That means You need to give your phone number and your calling party number before you can make a call. When you intiate a call Jajah first connect your phone. You pick up the call and then jajah connects to the other party.
Benefits: No software download needed. Just visit their site. No credits needed for free calls. Drawbacks: Have to use a legitimate number before calling. Cant use PC to make call.
The free 'web activated calls', which are
available between registered JAJAH users, are simply set up
via JAJAH.com, which then calls your nominated phone and
connects the call to your handset. So it's just like a normal
phone call - only free.
To make the free calls, simply enter your own phone number at JAJAH.com, then the desired destination number, and
click "Call." Your phone will then ring. Pick it up, and you
will be instantly connected. Again, no need to download,
install or buy new equipment - or sign any contracts!
With JAJAH free global calling, people can make free calls to
almost any landline in the world. Remarkably, people can also
call free to mobile phones in the United States, Canada,
China, Hong Kong, Singapore and Taiwan.
In countries where free phone calls are not available, or if
someone is calling a non-JAJAH member, calls are simply
subject to JAJAH's ultra-low rates, which are significantly
lower than other telephone companies, such as BT, as well as
Voice Over IP (VoIP providers). For a full list of rates visit here.
"JAJAH's Free Global Calling Plan is the further realisation
of JAJAH's vision of breaking down the barriers to global
communication," said JAJAH co-founder Roman Scharf. "People
have been predicting free phone calls for years, now JAJAH is
the first to actually make free phone calls a reality. With JAJAH, you place a regular call and talk on your phone the way
you always have; we simply ask that you dial the call from our
website."
In place of complicated user agreements, JAJAH has created a
system that depends on the JAJAH community adhering to a "fair
use" policy, which simply asks people to try to keep their
calls within a reasonable amount of minutes (approximately 60
minutes per day). To this end, JAJAH will monitor the number
of hours per individual user per day to assure that no single
person damages the overall service.
To become a registered JAJAH user and start making free calls,
simply go to JAJAH.com, enter your name, email address and
telephone number. Registration is free, and no pre-payment is
required
